Bibiana received her higher diploma in Early Childhood Education in 2015. She was a registered kindergarten teacher in the field for nearly 4 years. In 2019, she resigned from her job and started her B.A. in Visual Art at the Hong Kong Baptist University, to follow her passion in arts and her future vision to be an art therapist. As a plant lover, she was also certified in Horticultural Therapy back in 2017, experienced in holding therapeutic activities with children.

Her works integrate elements of botanic materials, sounds, smells, images and installations. With her sensibility with nature, emotions and memories of human living, she intends to incorporate art and botanical elements as an agent to rediscover the relationship of symbiosis, as well as the visceral part of oneself through the perception of daily life and the circulation of nature.

Memorial flowers from strangers were collected at the funeral parlor after ceremonies by the artist. She then preserved the colors by dehydration and transformed it to powder as a manifestation of dust. By collecting voices from over 20 regions reading the same passage of Ecclesiastes 3, participants organically narrate the life cycle in collaboration.

The flowers witnessed the final stage of a deceased person and accompanied their friends and families during the event; whereas the flowers are expecting to return to dust in time. The artist subtly metaphorized life progression through botanical materials, incorporating sounds as a response to question the essence of life.
